CARIBBEAN GOLF VACATIONS

Ritz-Carlton Golf & Spa Resort
More and more parents want to golf with their kids, and at the White Witch Golf Course in Jamaica you can do that and more: Nike Golf Schools & Jr. Camps have teamed up with the 5-star Ritz Carlton Golf & Spa Resort to set up the first Nike Golf School in the Caribbean.

Beaches Boscobel Resort & Golf Club
At this popular family resort in Jamaica, kids can participate in a special Monday, Wed., Friday program with instruction-- all part of Beaches' all-inclusive rate. (Book early.) For all golfers: green fees are included with your stay, as is transportation to Sandals Golf and Country Club, a 20-minute drive. Caddy is mandatory; carts, optional.

FLORIDA GOLF RESORTS

Why not add a week of golf school after a week in DisneyWorld? Many Florida hotels offer just such a golf package.

Mariott Hotels offer the Nick Falco School of Golf at their Florida Resorts. Junior golfers attend at 1/2 price.

Amelia Island Plantation Resort
This 1350-acre resort has plenty to offer families, including kids' clubs and nature tours. For golfers, the resort has 54 championship holes and a golf school.

Sandestin Resort
This 2400-acre resort in northwest Florida has four golf courses, and a week-long Junior Golf Academy offered two hours daily, in July.

GOLF CRUISES

It's true - you can cruise to your golf destination. Many choices to choose from in the Carribean.

Cruise to the golf course, many Caribbean destinations available. For the avid golfer, cruising offers a unique opportunity to experience a variety of spectacular golf courses, each in a different country or island. For example, on a standard seven-day cruise in the Western Caribbean, you could hit the links in Miami; Ocho Rios, Jamaica; Grand Cayman Island; and Cozumel, Mexico.

Alternatively, on a Bermuda cruise, you could stay right on the island and indulge yourself at a multitude of world-class golf courses.Many of the larger cruise ships offer private lessons, driving ranges, and putting greens on board. Packages generally include round-trip transportation to the course, greens fees, and a shared cart. You can also rent clubs--and shoes at some courses--if you don’t want to bring your own along.
